This week's Inside Scoop is here. Don't forget to turn your clocks back this weekend Hawks! Have a happy Halloween and be safe out there! https://app.smore.com/n/xv348
The annual Fall College and Career Fair will be held on Monday, November 2nd during Focus and Lunches!
About 70 representatives from higher education institutions, industry and community based organizations will be at Hockinson High School in the lower gym. All students will attend during focus and have the option to spend more time at the fair during their scheduled lunch.
This is the perfect opportunity to connect with admissions counselors and/or companies in our area!
See the attached list of representatives.

For the past couple of years, Hawk-or-Treat has been a fun, new tradition. Seeing so many smiling faces and awesome costumes has meant so much to us.
We want to let you know that we won’t be hosting the Hawk-or-Treat event at HHS this year. Making this call wasn't easy, as we know how much this tradition has meant to so many families. While we’ll miss sharing this specific evening with you all, we are deeply grateful for the joy it has brought over the last couple of years.
Thank you for being such a supportive community. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and cozy Halloween season filled with plenty of treats!
Go Hawks!
Sincerely,
Tim Fox, Principal
Seniors and Families:
Reminder that our Financial Aid Information Night is tomorrow Wednesday, October 21st, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the Hockinson High School Library! Representatives from Clark College and Lower Columbia College will present valuable information on financial aid, grants, and scholarship options, and will be available to answer your questions. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Hockinson School District will be updating some of our educational technology platforms for students and parents. We want to share what you can expect and where to find information beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Read more here.
The camp honors the memory of Nate Anderson, a former HHS soccer player who enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduation. While home in Vancouver on leave, Nate tragically passed away at the age of 19. This camp was created to celebrate Nate's life and the values he embodied—service, leadership, kindness, and community.
Thank you to all of our campers, high school volunteers, coaches, and families for continuing this meaningful tradition and creating a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for the next generation of Hawks.

We are getting some questions about whether the HSD is on a normal schedule and we want to confirm that all Hockinson schools are on a normal schedule today, 12/18.
2 Hr. Late Start
Today, Wednesday, Dec 17, the Hockinson School District is on a 2 hr. Late Start due to lack of power and road debris.
All bus routes will operate on a 2 hr late pick up schedule with no AM service for Cascadia Tech and AM Preschool.
We will update you should power not get restored in a timely manner.
All HHES buses will be running approximately 20 minutes late today Thursday, Dec. 11. We regret that transportation for a field trip fell behind schedule. This delay will likely impact all HSD bus riders K-12.
We will send out additional updates should these delays change or if there is any other news relating to this issue.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
