Senior HHS Keegan McAfee is off to a fast start in his final Track & Field season! McAfee's marks in the shot put have increased over the first four meets of the season, throwing 45'09" at the 3/18 meet v. Hudson's Bay, 46' 4.25" at the 3/20 Wildcat Relays, 47' 5" at the 3/25 meet v. Columbia River, and a school-record 49' 8" at the 3/28 Tiger Invite.
For his string of personal best throws, McAfee was named the HHS Athlete of the Week for the Week of March 23.
Next year, McAfee will play football at Southern Oregon University. Until then, though, he's in "Track Mode" and it will be exciting if he'll continue to surpass his current marks.
Congratulations, Keegan! Best of luck this season.
