The 2026 North County Honor Band was a tremendous success, bringing together more than 150 middle and high school musicians from across Clark County for a weekend of collaboration, learning, and performance. Congratulations to the Hockinson High School and Hockinson Middle School students who participated this year.

The North County Honor Band program provides a unique opportunity for student musicians to work with peers from other schools, refine their skills, and perform under the direction of renowned conductors. Students are selected through a competitive application process screened by a panel of local band directors, making participation a significant honor. The program concludes with a public performance featuring challenging and diverse repertoire that celebrates the dedication, talent, and musical excellence of Clark County students, made possible through the continued support of music educators and families.
The event featured outstanding guest clinicians Laura Arthur and Dr. Edward Protzman and was made possible through the efforts of host directors Mr. McEnry and Ms. Ritenburgh, directors from 14 middle schools and 9 high schools, and the support of Hockinson High School, Music World, HHS Music Booster volunteers, and community partners Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Burgerville.
