Hockinson High School has been honored with the 2025 Culture Kickoff Award for the second year in a row for its continued work to build a welcoming, student-centered school culture. This recognition from the Association of Washington Student Leaders (AWSL) and the Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP) reflects the care that goes into daily interactions, events, and traditions on campus.

At HHS, staff and students are intentional about creating spaces where everyone feels like they belong. Activities throughout the year bring families into the school and give students avenues to form meaningful bonds with one another. Everyday classroom routines and larger community-building efforts both play a role in helping students feel supported and connected.

Hockinson School District is proud of HHS for earning the Culture Kickoff Award again this year and for the steady, behind-the-scenes work it represents on behalf of students and families.
