The shorter days and cooler temperatures are indicative of the transition from fall to winter. However, before the Winter Sports season begins on Nov. 17, there are a number of Fall Sport student-athletes who will be representing HHS at post-season competitions, including:
Girls Soccer
The girls play Tumwater Tues, Nov. 4 at Tumwater High School at 6 pm.
The tournament format is double elimination. A loss means a game on Thursday. A win advances the girls directly to the District Finals on Saturday.
Cross Country
The boys and girls teams qualified for the District Cross Country Meet at Lewis River Golf Course. Nine runners qualified for the Sat, Nov. 8 State XC Meet in Pasco, WA. Details here.
Girls Swim
Multiple swimmers qualified for State (!), which will be held at King County Aquatic Center on Nov. 14 & 15. Tournament information here.
Despite exceptional individual and team performances this season, Boys Tennis, Volleyball, Boys Golf, and Football did not qualify for the post-season. A couple of shout outs to Jaylen Miller, who finished 2nd in Singles at the GSHL League Tennis Tournament. Congratulations to golfers Tyler Bridge, Tabor Huffman, and Codey Callahan, who qualified for the District Golf Tournament.
