High school students in Hockinson have more ways than ever to earn college credit while in high school. Hockinson High School will offer five new College in the High School (CiHS) courses this year: English 101 & 102, Physics 111 & 112, and Math 152.
CiHS allows students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time, at no cost. Credits are offered through Central Washington University and transferable to colleges and universities across the state and nation.
These opportunities prepare students for lifelong learning regardless of whether they continue on to college after graduation, go straight into the workforce, or pursue higher education later in life. The credits students earn are transferable to many schools across the country.
