Summer Events:

National Youth Science Camp

Do you know a high school senior who would love a summer science experience?

Two high school seniors from Washington State will receive a full scholarship to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds.  The nearly month-long experience includes lectures and hands-on research projects presented by scientists from across the nation, overnight camping trips into the Monogahela National Forest, and a visit to Washington D.C. The NYSC experience is offered at no cost to its participants so that selected delegates may attend regardless of their financial status. To apply, see http://www.nysf.com/w/programs/nysc/.

Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2017.

Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering through the Saturday Academy:

To apply, add internships to your locker - from here you can start your application and create an account.  This will allow you to save your progress.
(The application deadline is Friday, March 10th.)

Saturday Academy's ASE Program offers current 9-11th grade students
the opportunity to intern with scientists, technologists and engineers  for 8-weeks during the summer.
